I wove the hat band out of Japanese glass beads on the north rim of the Grand Canyon on the summer solstice summer of '23 as I made my way back home from learning how to make cowboy hats in Colorado. This hat is also distressed with red earth from southern Utah that was also gathered on this trip. The hat embodies the energy of that beautiful journey. It's a gorgeous hat and the only reason it's discounted is because I've played around and reshaped it a bit. It's one of the first felts I ever bought.
